It also provides numerous links to information from and about colleges, universities, and career and technical programs.

The Office, a part of the State Education Department, administers the certification of all teachers and other school professionals who serve in the State's K-12 public schools. This includes defining and implementing policy governing the certification, preparation and professional development of all teachers. Through various programs, the Office also supports the safety of the school environment and due process in teacher disciplinary proceedings.
